Make sure there is ample space for the trucks and trailers to maneuver, with no obstructions (gates, poles, hills, etc.)
The trucks and trailers and HEAVY! Soft surfaces such as grass or mud can cause the truck and trailer to sink and get stuck.
At least 12 feet in width will be required for the truck to operate at the drop site.
At least 60' in length is required for a 20' container and 80' for a 40' container.
Check for overhead obstructions (power lines, branches, etc.) There should be at least 16' of height clearance.
It is VERY important to have a level surface! You can lay gravel or concrete where your container will be set or have railroad ties or wood blocks to ensure the container is level. Note: We do not provide leveling materials, please ensure your site is level and ready upon delivery.
Rough Roads – grass, mud, large potholes, etc. can be potential problems.
Steep Road Inclines and Declines – these can be difficult or impossible to perform the delivery.
Tight Turns – there needs to be enough clearance to enter, make turns, and exit.
Height Restrictions such as Overhanging Trees, Power Lines, and Low Bridges.
Weather – high winds, floods, snow, etc.
If you think you have a possible obstruction, give us a call and we can talk through it with you! We always try to make your location work!
